Cancellations, No-Shows & Late Arrivals

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the booking fee collected at the time of scheduling will not be refunded or applied toward future appointments.

  • No-Shows: Clients who miss their appointment without notice will be considered a no-show. In these cases, the booking fee will not be refunded.

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will be shortened to respect the next client’s time. If you arrive 20 minutes or more past your scheduled start time, your appointment may be canceled and treated as a no-show.

Shipping & Returns

Carrier
All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail Insured to ensure fast and reliable delivery.

Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your USPS tracking number so you can follow your package every step of the way. Please note that once a package has been accepted by USPS, shipping is outside of our control. Mabel’s Skin Care is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or undeliverable packages once they are in the carrier’s possession. If you experience a delivery issue, we recommend contacting USPS directly with your tracking information for assistance.

Shipping Rates
Orders $200 and over automatically qualify for free shipping at checkout.
All other orders ship at a flat rate of $9 anywhere within the U.S.
At this time, we are unable to ship internationally.

Back Orders
If an item in your order is temporarily out of stock, we’ll contact you right away. In-stock items will ship first, and your remaining product(s) will be sent as soon as they become available—at no extra shipping cost.

Returns
Please note that all skincare product sales are final and non-refundable.

Your skincare is an investment, and I want you to feel confident in your purchases.

  • Services: Due to the nature of skincare treatments, all service sales are final.

  • Services are available by appointment only.

  • New clients should book the New Client Facial for their first visit.

  • All services and recommendations are tailored to your skin at the time of treatment.

  • Results vary based on skin type, condition, and lifestyle.

All content, images, and branding on this site are property of Mabel’s Skin Care® and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Information I Collect

When you interact with Mabel's Skin Care, I may collect the following:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number

  • Appointment history and skincare consultation notes

  • Skin condition information and treatment records

  • Before and after photos (with your consent)

  • Purchase history for in-studio and online retail orders

  • Website usage data collected automatically through Squarespace (such as browser type and pages visited)

How I Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Schedule and manage your appointments

  • Provide personalized skincare recommendations and track your skin's progress over time

  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages

  • Process retail purchases and order fulfillment

  • Send promotional communications you've opted into, including email and SMS

  • Improve the overall client experience at Mabel's Skin Care

I will never sell your personal information to third parties. Ever. No mobile details or personally identifiable information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes

Third-Party Tools

To operate my business, I use trusted third-party platforms that may store or process your information on my behalf. These currently include:

  • Boulevard — appointment booking, client records, payment processing, and digital intake forms

  • Squarespace — website hosting and email marketing

  • Google — business communications and reviews

Each of these platforms maintains their own privacy and security practices. I only work with platforms I trust with your information.

Client Photos

Before and after photos are taken only with your verbal and written consent as noted on your consent form. These photos are stored securely within your client profile and are never shared publicly without your explicit permission.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information I collect about you

  • Request deletion of your personal information

  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information (I do not sell your data)

  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

SMS Consent & Text Message Disclosure

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on any intake form or booking confirmation, you agree to receive text messages from Mabel's Skin Care at the number provided.

Types of messages you may receive:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders

  • Same-day appointment notifications

  • Follow-up care messages after your treatment

  • Occasional promotional offers, skincare tips, and studio updates

Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and any active promotions. Appointment-related messages are sent as needed. Marketing messages are sent no more than a few times per month.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

To opt out of marketing messages at any time, reply STOP to any text message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further marketing texts will be sent.

Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any product or service from Mabel's Skin Care.

Email Communications

When you provide your email address, you may receive appointment-related emails as well as occasional newsletters and promotional offers. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All payment processing is handled securely through Boulevard's encrypted payment system.

New Clients

  • All new clients, or returning clients who have not received a service in 12+ months, must book a New Client Appointment. No exceptions.

  • You may add on desired treatments (Dermaplane, micro/hydrodermabrasion, enzyme, extractions, etc.) to your New Client Appointment to ensure enough time is reserved.

This ensures we have the time to complete a thorough skin consultation and design a plan that truly works for you.

Appointment Confirmations

  • All appointments must be confirmed directly by me.

  • If you do not receive a confirmation notification from Booksy, your appointment has not gone through.

Consent & Forms

  • Digital forms will be sent to you as soon as I accept your appointment.

  • All required forms must be completed at least 48 hours before your appointment day in order to proceed with your treatment.

  • These may include:

    • Medical Disclosure – to ensure I am aware of allergies, medications, and health history.

    • Treatment Consent – acknowledging benefits and potential risks of services.

    • Photo Consent – optional, granting permission for before/after photos if you choose.

    • Release of Liability – confirming your understanding that results vary and treatments are nonmedical.

These forms are in place to provide you with the safest, most effective, and fully personalized care and will need updating at least yearly.

Payment Policy

I accept the following forms of payment:

  • All major credit and debit cards

  • Contactless payments

  • Zelle

  • Cash

  • Gift cards

Payment is due at the time of service.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

  • Gift cards must be presented at the time of service.

  • They may be used for services or products, but cannot be combined with promotional offers unless specified.

Patch Test Policy (Chemical Peels)

  • For chemical peels, a patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • This ensures your skin responds safely to active ingredients.

Age Restrictions / Minor Policy

  • Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • A signed consent form from the guardian is required before any treatment can be performed.

  • Certain advanced treatments may not be appropriate for minors. I will always recommend the safest options for young skin.

Health & Safety / Contraindications

Your health and safety are my top priority. Please inform me of the following before booking or during your consultation:

  • Any current skin conditions, rashes, wounds, or infections (including cold sores).

  • Recent chemical peels, laser treatments, or cosmetic procedures.

  • Recent Botox or filler injections (must wait at least 2 weeks before a facial).

  • Current medications (including Accutane, antibiotics, or topical prescriptions).

  • Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other medical conditions that may affect treatment safety.

  • If you are feeling unwell or contagious, please reschedule your appointment.

This ensures I can tailor your treatment for both safety and best results.

Valuables

Mabel’s Skin Care® does not assume liability for lost, stolen, or forgotten personal items. Please keep your valuables with you during your visit.

Treatment and product pricing is subject to change at any time without notice.
